I have made the decision to keep my D3 looking as it did the day it left the factory. My only concession to that has been the fitting of smoke side repeaters as they merge into the grey paint nicely.
Been looking at Stornaway boot handle and door handles but then the car wouldn’t be true to its roots!!

Hi
Indeed understand where ur coming from, not keen where there covered in chrome or have body kits
Just nice being able to tidy a few areas up, ie where the door handles have faded
Have also been looking at some decent black bumper restorer , like a paint that u can apply that’s lasts
Also seen where u use a hot air gun to restore black trim
Won’t bother till spring time and starts to warm up again
Saw a D4 a little while ago, had like a carbon fibre effects on the boot and door handles , wasn’t sure to be honest as the landy was a silver colour

I’d like some matt black painted door handle covers to look like they did when new.
I’ve been using auto Glyn bumper restorer on mine. Does a pretty good job if applied regularly.

Gotta say I wasn't a fan at first sight but the brushed finish look very smart. Gives a subtle colour change. Be good to see matching tailgate handle cover and wing mirrors perhaps ...

Why can’t things be simple
Looking at the covers I see that they are different according to which year , ie the depth of the handle
Checked mine, 3 x are the later type and the drivers one is a early door handle , so I’ll either have to find a company who will sell me the odd handle cover or change the entire door handle
Or if I engage my brain as the later type are bigger the cover may fit over the 1 x thinner handle , as i also didnt realise there’s skins and covers , ie 1 x piece and 2 x piece
