Does anybody know how difficult it is to change the door handles? Was thinking of putting some colour coded ones on, not covers. Just wondering if it's a mission to remove the door trim etc. to get at fixing screws. Are any special tools required and are there any pitfalls I should look out for? Cheers.

Very easy to remove
Pull the rear cover off and just pull the handle towards the back of the car
If your buying new handles from LR to paint before removing your old ones they are about £48+VAT each

So Matt, if I pick you up correctly, you don't need to remove the inner door trim ?
If that's so, out of curiousity, how does the handle engage with the mechanism ? I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

Correct Ron
Very easy to remove ..but the small cover normally breaks ( £3 - £4 each from LR )
Have a look here http://www.disco3.co.uk/gallery/albums/use...Handle.pdf G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Changed me handles today from the grey ones to LR genuine Rimini Red ones, surprisingly easy to do (thanks to Wiggs for posting a link to the instructions) even including raking around for a Torx bit to remove the lock cylinder.
TBH I only changed them cos I saw them on e-bay and thought they were a bargain at £39.99 from Stratstones, Swansea compared to the sticky on covers in Rimini Red for £89 from who-knows-who but they really do lift the look of the car, even SWMBO commented on them looking the dogs
If any of you with a Bucky Blue Disco wants to do the same follow the link below, not as cheap as mine and apparently postage from Milton Keynes is £4.95 more than postage from Swansea!
