I replaced mine with colour coded LR ones, the rear covers just pull off allowing the door handles to be pulled sharply back and out.The front passenger one is slightly different, the rear cover pulls off and then the door requires to be opened,On the inside of the door, where the latch is,a torx headed retaining bolt holds in the key lock mechanism. This requires slackening in order for the handle to be pulled back and removed. A piece of line needs to be hooked round the mechanism in the door and pulled taut in order doto fit the new handle.Replacing is the same scenario in reverse.Quite easy to do.took me about 20 mins after working up courage to pull out first one.
I did a site search and there is a LR pdf somewhere on here showing the whole thing.

Very easy to do
The old covers will break when you remove them ..but not important as you are replacing them anyway ( new are about £3.50 each )
