Door won't open

The driver side passenger has suddenly decided not to open. Tried from the inside, switch ignition on and, tried with the centre unlock button and the remote! Any ideas

out with 4x4 responce tomorrow so have little time to get fixed!

Is this a stealer visit and if so something they would be able to fix same day?

Does it unlock with the engine running (more power available)?

You'll need a new latch mechanism - it costs about £34, and probably a couple of hours of labour to get it fitted. I just changed one of mine - pretty easy really. Thread here...http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic33743.html

I found that my doors were not unlocking/locking properly in the cold weather, they all unlocked/locked fine with the engine running when pressing the button on the dash, have recently changed the battery as my one was 5 years old, not had a problem since but waiting for a cold spell to check.

Hope it helps
