Dr Tranny now in stock

I have added the infamous Dr Tranny to our stock range, it arrived today from the states.

I have previously used this myself (well my Discovery has) and have to say how good it is, it does what it says it will do!

My symptons were:

Powertrain judder on acceleration, very like a Propshaft out of balance or a worn CV Joint,
Faltering revs around 1500-2000

One tube and my issues were fixed.

Now having said that, I believe that my problems have been masked for a while, the shudder fix is a friction modifier so it has added a little life back into my old oil, so now I am fairly happy my transmission is not about to die I will change my filter and oil, possibly a flush machine on the horizon? I also think it worth adding a tube of this to new oil.

I added a tube of it to my gearbox oil after a new filter and fresh oil, with no issues Thumbs Up

Just ordered some of this, and a set if the Michelin wiper blades Thumbs Up

Bizarrely i was googling only Friday night to find a simple source for this additive, all the results were basically in the USA, then lo and behold , ta daaaa , a fairy appears Laughing with a simple solution Mr. Green

Looking forward to trying to force it in Whistle as I gather it can be a ball ache , but there seems to be various methods , drain plug removal being the easiest I gather , or a syringe to remove some from the cooler hose , then put it back in there..

The filler plug is the best way but takes longer..I am replacing my sump on my gearbox and will add a tube with the new oil..

Jack up the drivers side bud remove the 6 bolts holding the cover on and the filler plug is forward of the shift cable make sure the engine is running before you remove the filler plug.

Are we talking about it with the drivers wheel removed, and the cover being on the inner arch behind the wheel , or is this inside the engine bay, and a cover over the gearbox itself?

No its the cover from under the gearbox remove 6 10mm spanner size bolts and remove the cover looking to the gearbox you will see the gear change selector cable follow that to the rear of the car and just above it is the fill plug..
