Draw Storage System
Hi Guys,
I am wondering if anyone has built a draw storage system for their D3? I am about to undertake this project and I would be interested to know if anyone has done anything similar that has any photos / advice?

Is this for day to day use or a big trip?A happy childhood ... is the worst possible preparation for life.
I am sure there was a post on here from one of the guy down under who had built a nice looking system, can't find it at the mo.

I am look for use for off road days, weekends away etc. but could equally be used for big trips.
I have worked out and sourced all of the boxes that I want to use with it. I am just looking for rails and also any ideas from anyone else. I've seen some online to buy, but they are very expensive and I think I could do something similar, much cheaper and it will give me what I want.D3 HSE MY05 Auto

The manufactured ones are fairly heavy but I think the Aussie lads have made them from aluminium and ply. They're just a lot of weight to drag around everyday.A happy childhood ... is the worst possible preparation for life.

No, not wolfe boxes. I did look at them, but they are pretty expensive. I've found a supplier that seems to produce some good boxes at a decent price - although it's difficult to tell at the moment as I've not seen them in the flesh:
I'm just trying to source the runners now. I can decide on having the two draws that open independent of each other or just one big one, but the price of the runners might make that decision for me. D3 HSE MY05 Auto

The bulkhead is part of the commercialisation kit, fitted to SWMBO's car prior to its return to car status. It sits on a platform that replaces the 3 middle seats. It came from Lakeland LR, don't know if they still do them or what they cost.
