Gareth,

Saw your pics of Goyt Valley, looks like fun, I hope they pay for the D3 rescue teams patrolling there!

Question - Was everyone there on road tyres? Some of them look a bit more chunky on the pics. If so, what was the difference in the tyre performace.

I think TFC was on Coopers, but everyone else, including me was on standard tyres. They were very very good, with no apparent advantage to the Cooper shod vehicle.

Sounds good. I was expecting Scorpions on mine and then found that I have Wrangler M+S all Weather 19's on mine, maybe because of the TPMS (at least that's what the dealer thinks) on the road they don't seem any different. A bit more of an aggressive tread than the Pirellis.

I have these as my standard set and they do work well on snow - usual precautions (speed, distance and braking) and all that.
