would it not be easier to hook it up to the full beam?
I run the LED spot lights in my Defender on a second switch and it's a total pain trying to find it quickly when someone is coming the other way over the brow of a hill 2013 Discovery 4 HSE Lux | 2001 Defender 90 TD5 | 2007 Prodrive RB320

Hi maxed
I thought that’s how they were normally wired up , having a switch installed so there’s the option of them either coming on or not with the full beam

A vote from the far north for Lazers
But beware about wiring spots to main beam on a post 2014 model - it’s not as straightforward as it used to be!

Andy and NC500 - which Lazers are those? They look pretty discreet for driving lights.
Not many peeps seem to have lights BEHIND the grille though. There must be a good reason which I'm guessing is just that the grille blocks too much light.D1 300Tdi - gone

Yeah Triple R750. They are quite deep as NC500 says so you’d struggle to mount it hem behind the grill.
I think that would be the same for any of the high end makes though.
They are very bright as well
Photo doesn’t do them justice.

Yeah you can definitely tell they are a quality product. Even the filters have a gasket on the back to form a good seal against the light D4 MY15 SE TECH

that is a neat idea
I just went for cheap lights (Auxbeam from America, probably via the same place in China everyone else is!) because mine get abused during the winter. The light output is phenomenal for the price, but they don't last long. 2 years after fitting 2 of the 4 lights fog up occasionally and all of them are suffering badly from aluminium corrosion.
Saying that expensive versions from the likes of Rigid Industries only come with a 1 year warranty on the paint finish
I've yet to see a grotty lazer light, so I wonder what they do differently2013 Discovery 4 HSE Lux | 2001 Defender 90 TD5 | 2007 Prodrive RB320

If I hadn’t gone for the Lazers I’d be giving these serious consideration. I’ve had Lightforce lights before and just got a ROK 20 for the rear and they are quality
