Driving seat height adjustment that lowers itself ... |
|
... it's the third seat base that I change, but nothing is solved, the problem is always present.
This problem isn't only on my D3 of 2006, but also on the D4 of 2014: so, Land Rover in 8 years hasn't changed anything!
I specify that both my D3 and D4 are italian, so obviously they are left hand drive.
So, to solve the problem, it would be possible to fit the driver seat base (left seat) of my cars with a seat base of a right-hand drive Discovery, without the height adjustment mechanism?
Thanks for your help D3 TDV6, Zermatt Silver, Coil Spring Suspension, Tyres 285/55 R 18

Is the seat belt buckle attacked to the seat? If so won't it be on the wrong side?
Just wedge a block of wood under the leaver to stop it being depressed as you get in and out 1995 Discovery 1 300TDI

The height adjustment mechanism on my cars is manual, not electric. D3 TDV6, Zermatt Silver, Coil Spring Suspension, Tyres 285/55 R 18

There was a genuine Land Rover kit to fix this. A piece of wood and double sided tape.
Or train yourself to leap out, not slide out and down the seat, so depressing the lever with your bum. A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill.
