Needing to drop down the roof lining in the rear loadspace area to fit Telephone aerial thing on roof - any advice on removing/dropping down the roof lining and fitting the LR aerial.

Havent a clue but I bet ye anything that it involves giving it a good pull
I know that if you take off the cover on the back column then you can get your hand in under the top liner - I can take off this panel easily cos I havent airbags in the back - be very careful if you do A happy childhood ... is the worst possible preparation for life.
You can access the area by removing the plastic panel that houses the rear loadspace light I think. That just comes off by pulling it downwards, and is held in by 4 or 5 clips from memory.Previously:

that sounds right. I took the front lining down to fix sunroof leak last month. If the clips are the same they need a good firm pull. They are more likely to damage on the way back in rather than on the way out, so make sure they are lined up properly before giving them the final push.
Also, make sure none of the door/window seal are stuck behind the head lining when pushing home.
