Is this the dryer??
Every now and then when I try to lower my motor I get suspension fault. Turning off and on resolves it 99 times out of 100 and it will lower without any issues once turned back on.
Reading the faults I get the attached screenshot, is this the dryer getting clogged up or could it be the exhaust valve?
Cheers...

Depends on whether its Hitachi or AMK - Hitachi is easy once compressor is out, kits are available. Do not know about AMK

AMK are easy to replace the desiccant and filters as is the exh valve, but normally a clean up and lube of the valve will suffice.
Removal of the entire unit with a strip/clean should suffice if the fault has not been ignored causing overrunning for extended periods. Take care if removing the cyl head cover not to remove the protective coating on the cast aluminium when cleaning. If it is damaged or the head seal is distorted use a light smear of quality silicone sealant prior on reassembly. The Hitachi desiccant and filter kit will do if you can't find the AMK kit. You just need to cut the Hitachi filters to size, as the AMK ones are smaller than Hitachi. You do not need to remove the compressor bracket from the chassis, just pop the voss connectors and elec conns, then remove the vibration dampeners from under the compressor and slide it out towards the front of the vehicle.yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

With the Hitachi - Most likely both and exhaust air has to pass through the desiccant before it is exhausted out the exhaust port. [/url]

Thanks all,
I'll add to the jobs list! Do I just need a dryer refurb kit from eBay? Something like this.

Worth adding that this can be done without compressor removal.
The small phillips screw holding the unit in place is a fiddly, but manageable using a small quick fit type bit held in a spanner.
I replaced this with an allen headed bolt for ease.
