I noticed a slight hum from mine when new which has reduced now. But if you put the radio on it's fine. I've used them in the snow we just had and drove up a snow covered road that you couldn't easily walk up without any wheel spin or traction control intervention.

I've noticed a drop in economy of about 2-3mpg too, but that's on the trip computer.

Just seen the price of ATRs, ยฃ176!! Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry

I'm assuming with DTs I'd need to get 5, one for the spare?

I have the 255/55/19 Duratracs on my G4, I find them quieter than the previous MTR's, grippy on tarmac in the wet and capable in the mud/snow and very hard wearing.

Would recommend them.

Had mine on a long time now Del and canโ€™t fault them,
I have 2 new 111S rated sat in my storage so if anyone has any more 111S rating to make a set that would be fab, then I can run another set as they are a great jack of all trades. Otherwise I will be heading to 18โ€ Compomotives on KO2s next Thumbs Up

Been a while since I ran a D3 or D4 but my last serious use of the D4 was on a very wet and muddy field as an event marshal and I was running standard Scorpions. Despite a bit of wheel slip I had no trouble at all navigating around the site and towing other stranded vehicles out. The electronics did their job of keeping traction so unless this was a weekly occurrence I'd stay on standard rubber personally.

My GG AT3s look a lot more worn at 12k miles than the AT2s did.

Del - they are quieter than the MT/Rs but the side walls seem to be weaker (or I have been unlucky). I think they are slightly better on fuel economy than the MT/Rs (never bothered to check) but would say they are slightly worse than every day Wranglers.

Has anyone had any experience with these in boggy mud? I use my Discovery mainly on road but sometimes have to drive on mud in the autumn/winter. My D3 is due new tyres, it currently has conti 4x4 mud and snow things, but Iโ€™ve just got full on stuck.

So hoping these may be a tad better, itโ€™s no fun getting dragged out by a tractor..

Mud & snow = bog standard road tyre. Duratracs would be one of the best choices in mud. Thumbs Up

Del what's the issue with ATRs as you like like them so much why not have them again? ยฃ134 on tyreleader, that's what I have now and what I'll have next. There isn't a supply issue with them online?
