EAS help!

Hi- I Had a suspension fault so I got a GAPIID. It wasn’t letting me register it from my phone remotely but I was able to pull a code. Not sure if I can get more in-depth once it’s register,
But I figured I would check with you guys first.

I got the dreaded light- normal height only. It goes away when I turn off my vehicle but eventually comes back on. The code I got is: C1A20-64 ( 68 )

I am not sure what the ( 68 ) pertains to if anything? Fault says pressure increases to slow when filling reservoir. It’s a 08 with 79k miles.

Light is intermittent. When it’s off the vehicle raises and Lowers (access mode, extended mode)

Thanks,
Joe

What compressor model?
Mine is an AMK and was playing up a few weeks ago (bong/std height only/susp fault, etc etc) after some reading I bought some dessicant and filters off ebay, replaced them and fingers crossed it has been just fine since.

Not sure. I didn’t pull the cover yet. Will it say AMK or Hitachi or is it just by looks? I didn’t do any other testing besides pull the code. So next step is pull the compressor cover and see what I have?

Thanks,
Joe

I have a Hitachi Compressor. I got a full rebuild kit but I don’t think it’s the compressor. I took the cover off (broke the bolt that goes into the bracket) I don’t see any cracks in the lid. The lR3 pumps up to normal height. I pulled the 5 amp EAS fuse but I heard it “blow off” not to much longer like it was auto leveling. I thought that fuse was supposed to keep it from doing that? I have a GAP IID tool. Anything I should look at for numbers?

It’s been sitting about a week now and looked fairly low. Not on the bump stops low but it definitely lowered. I was hoping now that I pulled the fuse I’ll find out if a bag is leaking or a valve block.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,
Joe

It was fuse 3 I believe. I can go verify but I’m pretty sure it was #3 I know it was a 5amp fuse.

Thanks,
Joe
