Eight days to go......
Only eight more painful days to go before I get delivery. No real reason to post, other that I'm really REALLY looking forward to finally getting my hands on my MUD
Plan for the Delivery day:-
Booked day off (of course!)
(night before) go to sleep (maybe) after surfing Disco3.co.uk & having another read through of the PDF's of the manuals I've got.....
Wake up at 4am......
Wake up at 5am.......
Get out of bed 5.10 after getting moaned at by SWMBO for being restless
5.12am log on to find out who else is still up
5.30am make Coffee after finding only DiscoStu & Chris200100 logged on.......
spend next few hours surfing for LR bits.......
8.30am pack kids off to school.....
8.35am get out my 'accessories' in preparation of delivery
8.36am wish I'd gotten some more.....!
Check Tasmods
Check JMC's Radio (as I told him, my finger slipped when making the bank transfer for teh Mantec & it just so happened to match the same extra cost as the Entel John's offering.... )
Check removeable towbar
(if I have them by then) check side strips, check rubber mats, check black LR badges, check boot liner.
8.40am get cloth to polish off 3year olds grubby fingers from Tasmods........
Then wait........ fiddle with the LR keyring (bought as a valentines day pressie, hows that for appreciation!)
And Wait......
and Wait........!
Not sure of delivery time, but probably around 11ish I hope. Then I can spend the rest of the day adding bits & giving it the two pack polymer protection treatment. (hope it doesn't rain!)
And not forgetting of course, the disco3.co.uk stickers.
Anyway, now I've got that off my chest I can sleep a little easier.
Real version may well go 17:00 call from dealer telling me the delivery truck has broken down & won't be there til following week!

I haven't got the Expo Rack (yet) so couldn't justify putting that sticker on just yet. Besides, a neighbour has one of the last D2's in Orange all G4'd up...... & he'd just laugh Bodsys Brake Bible
Bodsy, Stop fannying about and just get in it and drive the damn thing until your face aches!
Then fit ONE of your accessories and drive it some more.
Repeat this until all accessories are fitted then go any buy some more! Back in the game!

Are you taking the ?
The After, I won't care, I'll be sure to get out & take the kids wherever they want to go. May even take SWMBO shopping (as long as I can stay in the car park... )
Then Sunday, I'll be driving to the D3/RRS Midlands meeting sporting a very tired, but extremely happy PERMAGRIN. Bodsys Brake Bible
