Electric Seat Adjustment Stopped

Just been out to pick up mini-me and noticed my drivers seat is no longer adjusting. Checked all the usual things like fuses and connections, still nothing Confused Fuse for adjustment and the one for lumber are okay. try to adjust and nothing on either.

Do I have my first fault? Could this be the dreaded seat ecu failure? Luckily it's set at my position so hopefully it'll not move from there.

Any guidance or tips gratefully accepted.

...John

John check your seat wiring, I had fault which I assumed was the ecu, turned out the cable had been nicked by the seat moving.

Stuck my hand in and under and had a rummage about, just like the old days and got a zap Shocked

Rechecked fuses and found lumber pump had popped. Refiited a new fuse and now it's went to the mrs settings and stuck... Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter WTF is it with LR's and going pear shaped when you've got something planned Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

Gonna calm down and go back out for another go at electrocuting myself.. Rolling with laughter

It's booked in at the dealers for next week, but if I cannot get a suitable driving position it'll be parked up til then or mrs jkp will be driving it....mmm, maybe not Whistle

Does that mean LRA might need to deliver you a FFRR for Kielder then Whistle

Already asked that question Thumbs Up answer was no Crying or Very sad

Called LRA and because the car is driveable-although I'd need to be a 'small person'-to be able to do so then it's up to the dealer.

Looks like I may be giving Kielder a miss this weekend, as ther is no way I can do a days driving with it the way it is. Sad

Just have to go to the pub instead Mr. Green Mr. Green
