Do you have the memory module under the seat if so can you get a picture of the connector and the wire going into it.

What does that look like? With the seat out all that left is the large ECU thing. There is no obvious module that I can see attached to the chair either. I don't think the seat or the Disco are equipped with it. If you could show me a photo of what im looking for I will go and check however.

That large ecu under the seat I would think is the memory module. I have a D3 so I'm not sure if they are the same

It is the memory module. Shown in your picture. Best is to remove everything and make it the same as a passenger seat. Need a new switch pack and wires.

Could I use the loam from the old passenger seat that was electric? Will the D4 plugs be the same on the switches?

Yes, several. I've been and taken a photo (its not very good but you can see the wires coming from the switch, traveling backwards under with a join that connects to the black connector shown in photo one.
What is the box at the top of the circle on the right this is what I'm referring to the other picture looks like an AMP if the D4 module is run on the same principle as the D3 it may be possible to connect a power feed to it if notI think LR3norway solution would be best. Can't tell you if the plugs are the same or not but when I did a few upgrades to my wiring I de pinned the wires from their connectors and transferred them in to the one's I was using there a lots of Videos on you tube.

The memory module is fitted underneath the seat. Not in on floor.
You will need a right side switchpack and loom from a LHD car. Both from D4.

Here is a photo of the box that is circled. When opened there is just a large circuit board inside.

Can't tell much from that photo but get a better picture of the part number and then do a search for it

Thats the seat memory module not going to help you though as you don't have the loom to plug into it. So next idea is to go with LR3's idea and try to see if you can use the old P/S wiring loom and as long as the switch packs are the same on both D4 seats used the working D4 seat loom as a template and make your own
If this isn't possible you will have to buy the loom and switches as LR3 has suggested.

The memory type switchpack uses canbus. Will only work together with the memory module. Someone have wired this up somehow to get it work, but only in small bursts (not sure about the word). Basically you push the switch and the seat moves 1mm or something for each push.
My car is LHD, so I got hands on a RHD passenger switch pack. (You need opposite offcourse)
Also bought a wiring loom, but got sent wrong loom so made my own. It's all about duplicating the passenger loom/switch in all ways.
On the memoryseat all motors got two extra wires, for positionsensors. Their not needed anymore offcourse.

So I should be able to swap the looms over from the old electric passenger seat to use on my new Discovery 4 drivers seat?
