| Email notification of new PM's |

Appears to be an issue with email notifications. Used to get an instant email with every PM, which was useful as it was easy to keep on top of
Now, said emails are very sporadic, with the vast the majority giving no notifications

might not be a problem with the forum ... email is not a guaranteed service across t'interweb as there a re toooo many variables.
I got an email 1 minute after PM was posted this morning.
last week, an email test to my Tesco account took several hours to appear. .

The mail's are not appearing at all, just the odd one now and then

You and Geoff both use Microsoft mail services, and they are known for not always delivering "mass" emails such as forum notifications.
I do my best with the email system setup here but I have no control over their system so I cannot force emails to get through.
Mikey - have you seen my (manually sent) emails? 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
Any issues with the site let me know!

it's not just microshaft ... my alerts go to Tesco but "all" my Tesco emails are set to autoforward to my work email account, but whilst most get through it blocks the forum ones and some others.
deffo not being filtered into your junk-mail folders ? .

I didn't say it was only Microsoft.
Spam is such a problem that it is virtually impossible to rely on email, either due to phishing emails or filters which remove legitimate mail. 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Spam, problem, your not joking, never really been bothered by spam until recently, currently receiving around seventy emails a day regarding pills for weight loss, started three to four weeks ago, coming in sporadically around six or see one at a time
