That would be a massive help, thanks.

At the moment I have a small piece of paper that I place on the TV screen, and I know when the hitch meets the edge of the piece of paper its lined up! (Not very high tech!!)

I have just been and tried it and I don't get those options.

When I tap the centre of the screen I get different options, see below, but nothing to do with the trailer options (Tow assist does work when I have the trailer cable connected)

Strange, looks like the camera angle fo view is different too as I can see my bumper and towball but it does not appear as if you can.

Also the way those buttons are presented looks like its completely different software to mine.

Sorry can't be of further help.

Hmm I have recently bought an IID tool and thinking about activating tow assist. Some interesting features on the recent posts I dont think I have ever tapped the screen when the reverse cam is activated I will go and have a look when I am back with the car.
I dont have surround cams only reverse, not sure whether tow assist will work towing a caravan with this? All I will see is the front of the caravan in the camera!
Might work well with the little ‘garden trailer’ as I call it, which ironically is impossible to manouvre compared to the 24ft caravan! Rolling Eyes

Is it just a case of activating it with IID and setting up with the target? Anyone have any joy with this?

You won’t get Partial Tow Assist with an 12 plate, MY14 and upwards you can, hence dorianwoolger being MY16 Thumbs Up

Ah ok thanks chaps thats that then!

Another few questions if you dont mind, I thought trailer stability assist was automatically activated when the towbar is enabled? Mine shows as ‘undefined’. Does this mean it is not active?

Same goes for ‘easy entry’ it shows as inactive yet my steering wheel & seat move when I open the drivers door. Is this not what easy entry is?
