engine
Having a bad day guys, Thursday morning disco wouldn't start called out green flag even they couldn't get it started. They put it down to the glow plugs. So on Friday tried serveral times and finally she fired and started. Spent the rest of the day driving about all good. This morning same again due to the cold she not having it. So yes I've ordered the FHB Controller rather than paying silly money to have the glow plugs replaced, anyway the left it til this afternoon and tried again and she fired and started all good. Took her out got about a mile from home and she stopped, then after serveral times trying to start her no luck, just been told that this could be the cam belt New engine I'm so gutted.. any ideas costs etc..

Does the engine turn over when you try to start it? Could be the fuel pump drive belt at the back of the engine. Good luck!

Hope its not that serious - what have you done to confirm its the Cam Belt? was there a huge amount of noise and vibration or did it just fade away?Must stop buying shiny toys....

No noise engine just went off. Spoke to a number of people and they suggested it could be the cam belt as it seems to be turning over quicker as normal. Called green flag out again, he put his computer on and there's no fuel pressure, so he said not the cam belt it could be the fuel pump/belt or sensor. Little confused.

Hope it’s just the hpfp belt as apart from fiddly to do as you need the hands of a 5 year old to get into do it can easily and cheaply be done
Is it turning over just not getting fuel to the injectors?
Did he test the pressure at the rail or just plug in and read faults?Must stop buying shiny toys....
