If you do a search on "remap" you'll find a mass of useful threads. There are plenty to choose from.

Which one is best ??, no idea. I think its all down to personal requirements.

EDIT : and welcome Thumbs Up

Drop 10forcash a PM.

He can provide an excellent service from what others here have said. Not a customer so my views are not tainted by any kind of loyalty in that respect.

His profile is here :

Whereas I'm totally biased, and would highly recommend TFC/Torq Tune Thumbs Up

Try accelerating from standstill in Sand Mode - feels quick?

With a TT, Sand Mode feels like the handbrake is on Mr. Green

+40bhp and +88Nm on my stage one map dedicated for auto cars, its a noticible gain on the dyno and on the road.
The acceleration is totaly different to a standard car it will pull a lot better from theset off whilst maintaining driveability and mainley economy.

For my tuppence worth, I'd say get it done by a company close to you.
That way when your dealer overwrites it, you can easily pop back to the supplier and have it re-installed.

I speak from experience!
Got mine done by JE in Coventry.
I live in North Yorkshire.
My dealer overwrote it doing 'enhancements'
Coventry is not near York!!
Nuff said!

Having a TorqTune, i am aware whilst driving that it is different - this is what your dealer will notice.
The software, as far as TFC told me, will be oblivious to them, therefore they cannot tell if it is tuned or not.

Remaps don't cause any damage to the engine, unlike some of the plugin boxes which for instance, push the fuel through quicker, hence increased damage to injectors etc.

I'm NO expert, but after almost 15K with a TorqTune i'm still grinning like the proverbial and 2 dealers havent said anything about it being tuned Very Happy

Under normal circumstances with a moderate remap there should be no problems with the engine.

Regarding the dealers, if they realy wanted to look and knew how to use there IDS dealer diagnostic tool proplery then they can tell in a matter of 5 mins easy that i can guarantee on ANY tuners remap..

the safest way is to have the car standard when it goes into the dealers.

Pete, my post means that if I were to have one done again it would be between yourself or Twisted Performance.
But you'd win cos you're a site sponsor.
Thumbs Up
