EPB advice please

Have just found out that one of my handbrajke cables has come off at shoe end(cable not broken) and has wound into module . i have tried the emergency release to no avail (the handbrake is not on) . My question is how can the cable be released from the module and pulled back out?

cheers

John

Hi, It will need to go on IDS /Autologic or similar to put the module in the unjam mode to release the cables

ISTR a specific sequence to put the EPB into 'service mode' that you can do without IDS? Must read my own zip file again to find it.... Will have to wait til after the weekend now though....

Not sure it will unjam it, but it certainly removes pressure off of the cables....
