EPB module rebuild

Good evening all,
Who has rebuilt their EPB module?

Mine has done before (3 years ago by previous owner), when I toot it apart the clutch cogs had a black plastic spacer glued to the top of the E clip.

So my question is, should it go cog, spring, metal washer, E clip? And get rid of the spacer.

Or does the spacer go below the E clip? Or glue it back on top again?

Thanks for your help in advance.
