EPB question

Picking up our 59 plate d4 next week and I ve read a lot of horror stories on forum regarding EPB. Will just selecting park on the gear selector hold it on hills etc without causing any damage to transmission. Would rather try and avoid using EPB if it's just going to cause problems. On my jd tractor I can just select park on gears and never use handbrake.

As said, use it or it will seize... And usually at a time when you'll need it... Clean it as per Bodsy's brake buble and you'll have no problems
If it ain't broke... Take it apart anyway, how else you gonna find out how it works
