EPB seized on. HELP

Can any body help ?? My wifes RRS is sitting in my driveway with the EPB jammed on. I have tried moving it in both D & R, tried sof rest and depressing apply/release pad. To no avail. I need to use the car tomorow. my warranty expired 7 days ago ?!?!?!?!?. Is there a manual release ?

Remove the plastic panel behind the park brake switch, inside is a looped cable. It needs a really hard pull, but it should disconnect the park brake and allow you to drive it.

Make sure the battery voltage is ok as well because if it drops below 7.5 volts the module won't operate Crying or Very sad

Thanks for all your help guys, I'm going to try the manual release just now. By the way I dont drive the RRS, my wife does, I've got a 95 DISCO. Great old horse,never let me down.
Any of you guys strugglin with your gas central boilers I'll be more than happy to advise and return the favour. Ronnie Whistle 8)

When our D3 got jammed on (halfway up car park ramp, in the christmas rush) I managed to release it by turning off ignition, holding down EPB lever, turning on ignition, which reset the system as described on here somewhere (and luckily I read the night before the incident, after some screaming occurrences!)
