Slight thread revival.

Seems that in Germany Daimler is going to reimburse up to 3000 eur to people owning certain models of Mercedes-Benz cars for a SCR retrofit to Euro 5 vehicles.

What none of the sites seem to state plainly is whether the vehicles will still be Euro 5 or whether the German authorities magically change them over to Euro 6. I mean, what’s the point if one would pay 3k for the kit (and get reimbursed) and the city centers will still require Euro 6?

Seems they have it for some Volvo and BMW models, too.
