expedition/off the beaten track prep

hi all im very tempted to do one of the morocco / tunisia trips this year or sumthing similer but im not too sure what you would need to take with you or the preperation involved but this is what ive got so please add suggestions Thumbs Up

-full underbody protection -front , tank and exhaust
-gen L/R winch with a 12000lb winch
-wrangler MTR's
-full height loadguard

items i dont really want to fit or use
-expo roofrack
-trailer


so what else do you need for a trip such as above Thumbs Up

extra spare wheel and some spair parts such as air filters recovery straps sand ladders just a few bits will be more i am sure

Well, I've never done a Tunisia trip...but from what I understand all you need is an Engel, some beer and plenty of cable ties and gaffer tape....

I'm sure there will be one or two members along soon to confirm the above kit list...
 The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

Club "yes, I too have had the EGR's replaced..."
Club "yes, I too have had the compressor replaced..."
Club "yes, I too once had the car at the dealer for a couple of weeks nearly 4 weeks over 4 weeks...5 weeks"
Club "yes, I too have had EPB failure..."
Club "yes, I too get mysterious bings and bongs..."
