Before things go from bad to worse can anyone advise on how to re-attach the lower external door trim to the door? An off-roading trip left piles of mud on the side steps and before I had chance to clean it off, it had become frozen - the door opened ok this morning but when I went to shut it the trim flew off 
Should I take off the yellow plastic nipples from the car and attach them to the trim before re-attaching?
Any help would be appreciated

You'd be better buying new 'nipples'... The clips cost 'much cheapness' and even if you manage to get the trim back on it will only be a matter of time before it falls of again. PM The Large One and I'm sure he will oblige. As you slide down the banister of life

Put them back in the trim first ..line them up and give it a good wack with your hand . Any duff ones can be replaced very cheaply G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Ha.. you didn't tell me I'd break things!!!
I had to go and open the door chauffeur style for the missus so she didn't see it.
