No go...
This is what I did;
Took a split from the red wire on the FBH, used auxillary battery to power the diagnosis tool, contact & AC on. The FBH is 'dead' and tried the fuse trick (do not have the Webasto timer switch -yet-).
Selected 'W-bus' and COM 4.
Regretfully no connection could be established. Something I am overlooking?

You can check to see if you have power on the plug into the FBH.
The com port is dependant upon which port the adaptor is allocated when you plug it in. Check which ones are available (in the webasto software) before you plug it in and then check which extra one comes up after plugging in the adaptor. Then choose the one that comes up.Faultmate MSV2 MultiVehicle

Is your OBD tool USB or serial?06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
Any issues with the site let me know!
I'm also using a USB to serial adapter, then a serial K line adapter, and I'm sure I had to change the COM port number to get it recognised 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
