FBH remote receiver

I have just removed the wheel jack cover to access the wire to connect into the remote FBH receiver which I found no problem,I also found this connector as well,it’s a long wire with a grommet near the end, does any body know what it’s for ? Cars a 2013 D4 HSE I hope the photos help thanks in advance

If that’s the right side of the boot then it will be the rear right TPMS sensor connector.

Ok thankyou for that, from what l can gather I’m probably better off without the TPMS anyway,I will purchase a good digital pressure gauge and use that weekly instead 😁😁

If your profile is correct and you have a 2006 D3, what kind of FBH controller are you trying to fit because as far as I'm aware, the D3 FBH needs a controller fitting under the bonnet, whereas the D4 has a location behind the rear panel to fit a controller?

In his post he says it’s a 2013 Disco 4.

I’ve retro fitted it to my car. Cost about £80 and with the exception of the wheel sensors it took me about 30 minutes to install.

Sorry about that, my profile is a D3 but I have just got the D4 ,so own the 2 now ,how much better is the 4 with the 8 speed box and sequential turbos, but I can’t get rid of my D3,I have spent to much time and effort to get it “just right” ,so it’s the D3 for work ( Towing heavy trailers ) and the D4 for pleasure

FBH remote pairing

In order to pair a FBH remote to the receiver on my D4 HSE ( which it won’t do) does the CCF have to be enabled first or should it pair up regardless of any CCF enabling,I would just like to know so I can rule out a problem with the receiver before I waste my hard earned on the enabling as I don’t own an IID tool ,if it’s due to it not being enabled then that’s a lot easier to deal with as a problem,I hope someone can advise

Yes it will pair without the CCF being enabled Thumbs Up

When you plug the receiver in .. hold the off button on the remote for a few seconds

Exactly which fob and receiver do you have?

There are Eberspacher type fobs being sold on eBay as D4 compatible. They're not.

That's an Eberspacher remote. It won't pair to the Webasto receiver.

T91 remote looks like this:
