FBH HAS STOPPED WORKING !!! |
|
Hi All,
During the recent cold spell i have noticed that my FBH has stopped working. I have tried the usual reset, disconnect fuse and power supply plugs to unit itself but still this has not helped! I was wondering if i carry out a hard battery reset would this help or am i destined to visit the stealers again!!!
Any comments appreciated. P.S. I know about the ambient temp below 5 degrees and the collant temp below 72degrees etc.
Thanks
Tom

One last check - fuel levels? Above a quarter tank? The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...
Club "yes, I too have had the EGR's replaced..."

Club "yes, I too once had the car at the dealer for a couple of weeks nearly 4 weeks over 4 weeks...5 weeks"
Club "yes, I too have had EPB failure..."
Club "yes, I too get mysterious bings and bongs..."

Needs the 'hard' lockout clearing with Autologic or IDS, probably caused by a build up of soot inside the FBH, i've cleared this with a HP airline but you still need to get the lockout reset with a proper diagnostic tool, the diabolical 'toy' devices won't do it...
