FBH timed Climate / remote ccf settings ??
Help please.
Can anyone please give the info on activating FBH settings on MY16 D4 Graphite with Sat Nav etc.
Have tried to pm Bodsy, but can't due to not having enough posts yet !
Have contacted local Indy who are willing to have a go, next Thursday, having never been asked this before.
Details on settings / procedure to enable timed climate and remote,
with a view to adding remote at a later date, would be appreciated.
Too far away from known members who can do it.

Dead easy to do. I bought an iid tool from a member on here for £300, works out cheaper in the long run than paying £50 a pop to have settings altered.
It's just a case of enabling them (choice of disabled/enabled on iid app). From memory, there's three to do I think. timed climate, remote and fbh
Works a treat.

Started a topic yesterday, but didn't realize I had raised it in the Webasto section.
Tried to pm Bodsy, but can't until 3 posts !
Local Indy have never been asked about this, but willing to "have a go" next Thursday.
Any set up info appreciated.

Hi Pete,
Did you manage to activate the "Time Climate" feature? I am also looking to do this, but am a little undecided on IID or iCarsoft.
I wonder if anyone else had any good/bad experience with iCarsoft on this particular issue or in general. Currently Amazon has a deal on iCarsoft EU Pro.

Hi Jon,
Yes, got a second hand genuine set from a forum member, and sorted the CCF settings with the IID Tool.
Would definitely go for the genuine set, plug and play.
Must be the T91R receiver, (VW version a lot cheaper on fleabay looks same but the connector is wrong).
Receiver and aerial go behind drivers side rear panel, slide on fitting and plug will be there (probably wrapped in grey foam).
Same for the IID BT. may seem pricey, but considering that you can enable extras as well as fault finding / settings, which a dealer will charge you £100+ per pop, will very soon pay for itself, and easily sold on if you move away from LR.
Regularly come up in the For Sale section.

Hi guys,
My FBH runs automatically according to the outside temperature. I've also set the "timed climate function" with IIDTool. But I'm asking if a generic remote (like on eBay) is compatible with the normal functions above. Especially, what about the connection on the pin 2 (the famous "red wire" / W-bus) that exists on my D4... Do I just take a jumper on it ?

Edit : Just picking a wire on the red one didn't work. I had to cut the wire and to connect on the FBH end. Works perfectly with diagnostic cable and Thermo test software but NOT with remote controller... (explain in another thread).
