Wondering if any forum members are caught up in the 30 mile jam on the M5 today - closure of Avonmouth bridge to North-bound traffic - that's bound to make it a sh!t start to the weekend. Seems astonishing that the police & HA didn't sort a way of clearing those stuck for 6+ hours, either with the slip road or with the use of a lane of the South bound section.

Mick, sorry to hear about the caravan. If its any help there is a company in Bradford, called Then Exhaust Ejector Co.

Weird name I know, but they make caravan windows to order. They got me out of a spot a few years ago when someone bricked all the front windows on our old Fleetwood. Manufacturer was quoting months for delivery, I took the remains of the windows to EE.Co. and they made them up in a day. Paid cash and it was very reasonable.

Hope they are still around.

As for my day, it was great. Met Mr & Mrs DiscoDunc this morning, as they arrived at the North Ledaig Caravan site as we were leaving. Lovely drive home with very few hold ups.
