Having spoke to three people now who I have meet on sites, all loved the 5th wheel in principal, but all said they would go back to a caravan for their next van. Asked them why and they all stated the same, they are too big for this country and many European sites. They stated that many sites in this country will not let you on as they cannot accomodate you, those that can have very limited pitch selection so you get put where they want you and many have had issues on smaller country roads. I like the look of them but enjoy the freedom to go where I want and pick which ever pitch is free when I get there. It's already done on the truck I am getting.
Picking up car on Tues and van on Fri, will post thoughts.
We only use caravan club sites and they are pretty friendly towards the fifth wheelers as my old van was large anyway.
If it doesn't suit I will sell both next year and go back to the disco. Also a member of avforums.com

The Inos was excellent and the new style suited us with triple bunks but you can only get out of one side. I bought the Celtic rambler which is the big one with a fixed bed, not as family friendly as will have to make the sofa bed up for the kids but got a bargain so couldn't resist.
I had a look in the Inos so got a good idea of finish/layout etc and pretty good value compared to their other models.
Their website is being updated with the new model but the build quality and design is excellent, of you go to their factory in North Wales they will show you around.Also a member of avforums.com

We're looking at the new Eterniti caravans at the ExCel show next month. Top of the range is £24995 and has option for leather. Slide out side and built on the BPW chassis, weighs around 1900 kg.

I bought their demo Inos (original layout) last July and have been very pleased with it. We had them fit an awning rail (free) before we took delivery. The only problem we had to overcome was with the rear LED's (on the van) as we had a D3 at the time. What was happening was when hooked up the Disco sends out pulses to check light bulb integrity on the car and this resulted in the LED's on the van flashing all the time. It was sorted by the factory fitting an additional relay (I think) in the wiring loom on the van (so no problems with LR warranty if it went wrong) and this has cured the problem. We have been to lots of sites both in the UK and in France since we took delivery and only experienced one problem on the Isle de Rey when we couldn't get off a site through the proper exit. No problem they let us out of the 'in' barrier. I will shortly be taking the Inos to the factory for it's annual service (and a few warranty issues-although nothing serious) and then expect to have an enjoyable summer vanning in the UK and then off to Austria in September. If anyone has anything specific the would like to know about the van or the factory please feel free to ask.
