It also definitely has air suspension - lots of up- and down-ness going on #
Oh and a "Suspension Fault" error. Which I cleared by using the normal turn off and back on again procedure

Thats sounds like a botch job because I have alpaca but the dash is black apart from the glove box and around the steering wheel which is also alpaca to match2004 Discovery 3 - gone

Looks like LR dealers are using QA failures as demonstrators, makes sense I suppose as LR can't make them quick enough and I suspect the dealers are selling all the good ones as soon as they get themThe End

Mine's a base 7 seater with 17", and F&R park distance sensors.
Would have loved bigger wheels, but not prepared to blow a grand on aesthetics and decided that 250 on parking sensor might be a good investment for when the wife does the daily school run.D3 Bonatti Grey TDV6

GP will have to go blame the council. Thay've made the speed bumps on the way to school so aggressive that her Golf Mk5 couldnt get over them any more. Hence the LR3.D3 Bonatti Grey TDV6

oh, and there is one other reason.
One of the mums had a head-on in the wet with a car that had aqua-planed across the road into her path on the way to school a few months back. Her Disco2 ended up on it's side and the car was totalled.
She and her precious cargo got out with hardly a scratch. The driver of the car was killed and a passenger hospitalised. (needless to say her husband was so thankful he immediately replaced the broken disco a new one)
Now some may argue that if it had been 2 standard cars then perhaps the death would have been avoided, but the fact is big 4x4's are out there. And I'd rather be in one than in a car.

Hummers, will not tow as much as the D3, believe it or not?
4x4's offer, safety to the occupants, far better visibility comfort and space for more occupants or goods, security in safety. They are not less safe at all.
The only problem with any car is basically the driver, whether it be a 4x4 or Mini. Most people drive like they walk, with little or no thought essentially, that is the problem.
To own a gun in the UK is virtually a no no, yet anyone can own a car and hurt, maime or kill more people in a second than someone with a gun, the LR situation and GP, I am convinced is an attack on the USA via a small easily targeted company call UK Ford over emissions or the lack of in the USA. Yet ironically the USA were the first to bring in most of the safety and immision controls.
Did you also know that a driver of a car makes more decisions every second (basically the ratio is 9:1) than an airline pilot does in the same period of time?? The pilot makes most during landing, the rest is protocol.
