Finished Round 1 of mods, its brushed up nicely.
Finished doing the first round of mods on my D3, its come up nicely. !

Is that grill painted Buck Blue with black insert? Did it come like that or have you painted it?

Hi, the Grill is the Black Silver Grey one from powerful UK,
It looks good on the buck blue, i was considering the black Silver Silver one.

I have same Powerful Grille on my Buck Blue D3 plus the DISCOVERY lettering, I just want to paint the wheels Gloss Black now...

Yes that was my plan I wanted to get a more rectangular look to the lights without failing MOTs or blocking any light source.
I decided that light guards would also break up the appearance and make them look thinner and more D4 like.
The bottom section has been taped off as a trial but I now have a roll of black wrap to do the job perfectly.
I think that with the D4+ style grille and D4 rear lights/wheels and D4 rear bumper the overall effect is good without the 3K spend which cannot be justified on this car.
PS: It also makes the inner part of the lights look a bit like spot lights with the light guards.
PS: It just passed its MOT with the lights as is.
