The display will say "Flashing started" should not take more than 2 mins max before " upld successful" is displayed, make sure your battery is fully charged, the tool is plugged in correctly, push it in and out a few times to help make a good contact, and make sure you press the + switch on the cruise control to start, if you get "upld fail" do a hard reset and try again, I'm getting quite an expert at it now, after all I've had enough practice.
Pleased to say I have finally got mine uploaded, what a nightmare, can't praise Gaps Customer Support enough, although not completely satisfied at the moment as some components are not working, C-in-D, 3way flash but lights indicator in dash is but shouldn't complain to much as I thought it was new BCModule time.It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Well that's my new AMK compressor installed uneventfully this morning. Car runs fine on the old Hitachi software, but it'll be staying in the garage until I've updated it with the new AMK software.
Just waiting for my new CTEK MXS25. Going to do it properly, with a 'battery maintainer', as the guys at GAP recommend. My logic is that if I've saved all that money doing this myself, and also a massive service just before this, I might as well have the right tools. Anyway, it'll do very nicely for an annual 'deep recondition' as well. We'll see if that adds some extra life to the batteries on our four cars in the household.

I've managed to get this to work now
I was missing the point that you have to press the + when the message " wait for complete msg & keep connected <+> came up I thought thus was part of the deleting old firmware
All is good now
The manual could do with a step by step guide as I see others have had similar issue and If you knew what to expect you'd see if it was working as should
thank you GAP for the Pm
Thank you

I just got around to trying it, but it didn't seem to work properly.
I enabled the 3 flash in the CCF, but it didn't seem to take.
Where is the 3 flash in the CCF? I have looked several times but can't find it.It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Three flash is located in the body control menu
If you have updated your Iid tool there are only two options
1 three flash
2 auxiliary driving lights
My three flash are working

ah thats where i think you are going wrong
dont go into the flash ecu menu that is to update the body control module and not to reconfigure the option with in the module
you need the
CCF CONFIG ./ BODY CONTROL
NOT ECU FLASH .X BODY CONTROL
the three flash option was there before the latest flash firmware it just didnt work
go into the car configuration file (CCF)
select body control and that is where you will find three flash option and if youve updated the body control mod it wil also show auxillary light fitted
hope this helps

Thanks ChrisD3 you are right, but in my case it wasn't there until Patrick at GAP sorted it out and they are now working:bow: and mobster he did not swear at me once just got to sort Sat Nav on the move now, and then back to the compressor. The more I use this Iid tool the more I like it It can when others can't,
