First service cost, is £497 over the top?
Hi all
Need my first service and just called Lancaster Milton Keynes and been quoted the above
Seems a bit excessive to me. Is that over the odds? Keen to keep it main dealer

That's not bad IMHO - I think I paid similar, 2nd one is a killer though at £625D4 HSE - Aintree Green

if that's including vat...would have thought a good price...the oil aint cheap...labour probably about 105 quids per hour so not far off me thinks

My third would have been £470 today (I pre purchased when I bought) and the forth is £550 or so (with 10% loyalty discount) so it's probably not far away. If I keep I may well be going Indy for next year..... Any one know a decent one in Scotland Joined the BMWX5 45e group

I'm still struggling to get my head round this 5 yr service plan ...... which I've bought..... it should cover servicing iaw LR specifications, that means they will look at all the bits and change oil and various filters iaw shedule, but anything else is chargable, eg cleaning brakes etcJoined the BMWX5 45e group

Just bought a Skoda, 3 yrs servicing at £99 all in. Basically an Oil & filter change but checked and includes brake fluid change at 3 yrs. .

My dealer charges £36.25 a month over 20 months for a Discovery, over 18 months old and it doesn't qualify, it will then need to be a tailor made plan which is a bit more expensive.
