Hi @darrind

Funny enough u saying that I remember one member also had issues where the starter motor wouldn’t turn over

I suggested to also try something similar of using a jump lead , but from the negative battery post to the engine lifting bracket next to the oil pressure gauge and indeed proved there was a bad earth connection as the engine started

Also as a side note When I doing some work on front drivers side i needed to remove the inner wheel arch liner I noticed there was a heavy duty earth cable there, I’m wondering if that goes from the bodywork to the starter motor bracket ??

Did take a pic of the drivers side when I removed the liner and noticed it’s in the picture , I’ve circled the earth cable

Thanks. The new battery was duff! Got a new one and its running now. Unfortunately the rear near side brake calliper is getting hot and theres a bit of a whine as you are going along. It rolls ok but im a bit worried about using it.

And again... Whistle

Regarding your brakes... stuck pistons i presume... best is to free them , with a “massage“
But then you have to take the calipers off and push and “pull“ the pistons....

Otherwise You can try an emergency stop a few times, but ...then you have to drive... and have the change to overheat the disks before you freed the pistons enough..
 Best regards
Harold
