Flo-Gas Propane

I have a feeling I may be preaching to the converted but …

having almost always got my refills from Homebase, rang to check they had some in and price seems to have jumped about £6 since I bought one a few weeks ago, so @ £41 and it being a 7 miles each-way trek, decided to see who else had them.

Turns out BOC do them. And it was 13kg of gas, not 10kg as per Homebase canister … for £30 !!!

and on top of all that … it's less than a mile away from here and doesn't have a M&S on the same estate, so nothing for SWMBO to spend money on.

Very Happy

IIRC, I paid about £30 in total when I bought first one … and it was about £15 or less for a refill.

It's only in last year or so it's crept up in price … but BOC took my "glass" cannister quite happily as the "exchange empty".

One thing that I didn't have to think about with the glass cannister was keeping it protected from the weather. Realise the metal ones won't be ruined by rain but am I right to assume I'll need to do something to stop getting rust rings on the patio ?
