That's good advice Farmer Chalk thanks.

I never use a car wash but there has been high levels of car thefts in my area lately.

I'll get a price on reprogramming and give you a shout if I'm unsure.

If you have the IID Tool you can tell how many keys have been programmed to the vehicle, if it’s more than two I’d worry, big time.

As above they will have obtained or programmed a key for your vehicle somehow....they place these on it to make it easy to steal when you are in a public place...

You need to urgently get your keys reprogrammed and the original keys deleted...alternatively fit an aftermarket car alarm and or a Ghost immobiliser....

PM me if you need further advice!

These exact things are $40 apiece on aliexpress with discount for multibuy. So a good investment for a burglar or car thief.

Good price for what it does. Would be just the job for my caravan!
How do you buy off this site as I cannot see a price?

If you find someone, it may be worth paying them the £60 to add your VIN to the IID (unless its an IID Pro) and then program a couple of new keys bought off eBay. Then remove the old keys from the list. That'll be cheaper than buying from a Stealership and getting them to program them.

I’d buy a third key off eBay then and programme that one too, so I’d hold all three.

Just seen this. You’re right Del, you can have upto three keys programmed.

Thanks for the input guys. It's definaty a tracker as I've found the identical one on Google, it has a push button on the back which tell the scrotes if it is removed / falls off so they know something is up.

I've bagged it ready for the police when they eventually turn up!

Hopefully they can track positions from the SIM card.

Police say it would have been pinched to order and I'm not sure if they thought it was a D4 as I've changed the grill.
This is the best option. Provides the police with a potential path to whoever put the tracker there. Also allows them to gain more info on how they carry out their activities.
