Why would you need puddle lights under the doors and under the mirror ? 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

When you unlock the D3 the under-door lights come on.....however seeing as though the doors are always closed at this point, they lights are pretty useless until you open the door...at which point it's a bit late
TBH the mirror puddle lamps would be more useful than under-door ones, but my main reason is that I like fiddling with the D3...nothing more, nothing less 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG

just how dark does it get in Spain
what about the whole journey to the motor ..how are you going to see the puddles along the way
Door mounted are good for getting out of the car. Mirror mounted would be good for getting into the car if you forgot there was a puddle... turd... etc there, or it had rained heavily since leaving it (and it was dark!).
I'd quite like them in the mirrors!2020 SDV6 D5 HSE, Carpathian Grey +

Make sure that your insurer is aware of these.
