Why would you need puddle lights under the doors and under the mirror ? Confused 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

When you unlock the D3 the under-door lights come on.....however seeing as though the doors are always closed at this point, they lights are pretty useless until you open the door...at which point it's a bit late Wink

TBH the mirror puddle lamps would be more useful than under-door ones, but my main reason is that I like fiddling with the D3...nothing more, nothing less Laughing 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Buckingham Blue

Door mounted are good for getting out of the car. Mirror mounted would be good for getting into the car if you forgot there was a puddle... turd... etc there, or it had rained heavily since leaving it (and it was dark!).

I'd quite like them in the mirrors! 2020 SDV6 D5 HSE, Carpathian Grey +
2022 Tesla Model Y LR... almost Carpathian Grey
Previously : 2005 TDV6 SE Auto, Cairns Blue (288K) - ours for 16 years
