Forgive my ignorance buty which model..
If I was buying a 2012-14 D4 with the absolute highest spec but WITHOUT the sunroofs (ideally) what spec would I be buying please?
Alternatively what difference, if any, does the sunroof make with a prospeed rack?D3 07 SE - still going strong
D3 07 HSE - gone to car heaven
FL1 - gone to Romania
D3 05 HSE - gone to a divorce diet
D1 V8 manual - gone but not forgotten
RR Classic - gone to car heaven
Jeeps, Lexus, X-trails... Too many to name..

Not sure on the exact model, but think it would be a low ish spec one, maybe XS if they still did them then.
I have a HSE with propseed mk2 rack and it makes no difference. I leave the front sections of flooring out so I can open the sunroof, but that’s it.
Obviously cuts a bit of light out inside though

SE Tech I think. Sunroof will leak it’s only a matter of when not if. If you have the flooring on the rack then I think a slight modification is required to the floor panels so the roof opens properly. Paul B will know more on that score D4 MY15 SE TECH

SE Tech comes with leather and sat nav as standard which is all I was after. These are an extra on the XS. I’ll send you the link to the LR mag when I get home D4 MY15 SE TECH

You don’t need to modify anything, but you can’t have the front sections in if you want to open roof. The rack has 3 sections front to rear, and 3 sections side to side.
If you want to open sunroof, just leave front 3 sections out. If you won’t open it, you can have them all in. They are also very easy to take in and out, so you can modify quickly to suit what you’re doing.

Landmark - rollout model - parts bin chucked at it - various specs such as heated steering - think HSE but not quite Lux
XXV - 25 edition included all options but limited colour - causeway grey has only be seen on this forum Stolen - D4 Loire Blue
