| Fourth Air Bag Fault - Discovery 4 - UPDATE |

I thought I would post an update just in case someone else experiences this problem in the future.
At the end of January (2016) the air bag warning light illuminated. Phone call to dealer and it was booked in for an initial diagnostics check and subsequently a replacement air bag module a few days later. This was replaced early February.
Fast forward 5 weeks mid March and the same thing happened again. Booked in for diagnostics check and fitting of a 2nd brand new air bag module.
Fast forward another 4 weeks to mid April, and the air bag warning light has illuminated again. Booked into dealer for diagnostics check and their computer identifies an air bag module fault. The wiring to/from the module is checked and found to be ok, so dealer is now beginning to suspect that either their computer is giving them false readings or the possibility of a bad batch of air bag modules. They decide to send the Discovery to a different Land Rover specialist for further investigation. The specialist diagnostics concluded that it was a faulty air bag module and this was replaced for the 3rd time.
Land Rover have been made aware of this issue and if it happens again the Discovery will go straight to the specialist where they will liaise with LR technicians directly and investigate further.
16/6/16 Lasted 7 weeks before air bag warning light illuminated again. Discovery 4 HSE Santorini Black 2012

This was a problem with the D3 if the driver's seat was constantly adjusted. The loom became stressed and broke internally. It was always a wiring issue rather than an airbag module problem though.

I will have a look for any obvious signs of wear and also mention this to them when I call.
Update - Mentioned the above wiring issue and booked in next week for further investigation. Discovery 4 HSE Santorini Black 2012
