Front Lower Arms & Hydro Bushes.....
My 2015 D4 comes out of warranty soon and was just in for a service. I mentioned a slight knocking noise when driving and they have diagnosed new front lower arms and hydro bushes are required.
The car has only done 35k, my other car has 80k, has been driven on the same roads and still has working suspension.
Are these parts wear and tear or covered under warranty?Better to be late in this world than early in the next.

Mine are wear and tear, although I have over twice the mileage.

Just had the same issue but at only 22k miles and they were replaced under warranty. Apparently so much of a common occurrence that the dealer carries replacements in stock!

Thanks for the replies, the chap that deals with warranty issues had left yesterday afternoon so the team were not sure whether it was covered. Hopefully I'll get some good news this morning Better to be late in this world than early in the next.

35K and 22K are very low miles for them to be replaced though if they are worn. Normally, they seem to go around 50-60k.
What have you been using your trucks for?? Lots of off-roading I hope

Mine have lasted until 70,000 miles but need to be done now before very long. I use it on farm tracks and the odd field, so no serious off-roading.
It does seem to be a bit of a problem area. The main dealer will sort it for around £1,000. Anybody else had this done and what did it cost?

Mine that were replaced was off a March 2016 D4 with 22k on the clock. I'm the second owner and it was a LR lease car which seems to have only done road work.

Apparently not. I've never seen a Black Experience car anyway.

I had mine done, was the cost pof the parts from AF (about £300) and then had a nice local place fit them for £216. Plus of course a hunter alignment
