Front Parking Sensors

I have front parking sensors which give a long continuous bleep when I first move off and then every time I go under 10 mph. I can switch them off by using the switch on the dash. Looked on here and I've cleaned then carefully etc but it doesn't seem to make any difference. I had the computer memory cleared when it was serviced last month but the problem has continued.
Is this something I have to put up with? Some advice that I have been given is to disconnect the front ones and just use the rear ones. I'm afraid I'm the type pf person that wants what is fitted to work!!
Any thoughts/advice most welcome.

Double-check it is the front sounder. Did this suddenly start happening or is this vehicle new to you?

It's probably a sensor gone bad or corroded/eroded wiring. I would take it in for service. The diagnostic software is fairly good in situations like this - eg. it can check individual sensors, etc.

ISTR that the front PDC sensors can be disabled from coming on automatically (not that that's the solution you're looking for though).

Just to complete the story, took my vehicle to a local specialist who used the plug in diagnostic and identified a fauly front sensor. This has been replaced and all is well.
Thanks for the advice.
