Simple question, I hope. On my 07 HSE D3 the front wipers make a loud dragging noise on the front window when the windows are not really wet. Its got the automatic sensors but I never use it as due to the noise. I wait until the window is really wet until I start the wipers.
The blades seem okay as they clear the screen fine.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

A temp repair is to wipe the blades with methylated spirits. Youll be surprised at the amount of crap that comes off.  Member of the carrot crank club

bin the rubbish LR ones and get the valeo wipers........had mine on nearly 2 years now and still (silently) doing the job

just give the blades a good clean - ive had the same blades for nearly 4 years and 110,000 miles and still working as new Duncan

IPA impregnated wipes are a great way to clean the screen - often this can be the cause of ju ju ju juddering.
