Woolmeister - mine seems to smoke from the OFFSIDE, rather than the NEARSIDE where it seems it is supposed to exhaust!with a occasional Bailey Unicorn Valencia tintent

Either an MSV2 or an IIDTool, i've done it with both but now i only own an IIDTool but for purging and testing it works well

You don't need a dedicated LR diagnostics tool to reset, see the wiki 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

I've tried taking the fuse out and back in but didn't work (I read that in the wiki ) don't feel confident enough to take it apart to clean it

I have never worked out why there seems to be two types of 5 degrees - one that is cool enough to start the FBH and one that wont.

As the display only shows whole numbers and not fractions, it may be perhaps that these other things activate or display when it's actually half a degree less than the displayed 5 ?
