I presume you've got a very small dog or the sheep are huge around your way!

dog is not in the league of the average forum dog (which all seem to be high beasts).

We have a Westie that is 9yrs old now but still acts like a puppy !

And yes there are some very big sheep around here too !

Must nick one and bring it to Billing... will they let me in with it or should I paint some kind of dog fur pattern on it ? Maybe glue fluff on its back and pretend its a Ridgeback like 10for's Wink

My dogs are only whippets, but there are 5 of them!

Not big but they are mustard at catching deer, foxes cats etc, or they were until that became illegal Whistle

My Grandad, a gamekeeper at Bolton Abbey estate (in Yorkshire tha' knows...) used a pair of Ridgebacks for hunting deer - apparently he never had to shoot the deer, most of them died of heart attacks or suffocation...nice...
Nothing wrong with whippets - good working dogs!
BN, if Pelyma has a horn, it'll be a pot noodle one Wink
Simon,
I can neither confirm or deny the existence of SAS surfing sheep, nor can I confirm or deny seeing one, if indeed they do exist (desperately looking through photo's..) However, they may well be a 'mock up' of such a beast appearing soon, as a demonstration of what one *might* look like... Rolling Eyes

Cheers,

10forcash,

Keep looking at the pictures... I'm sure some skunk works military project you've been involved with featured them very heavily.

I believe the sheep required masses of radiation in order to mutate their jeans into little surfing shorts Wink

Look forward to the mock up though...

Simon,
i couldn't possibly comment upon my involvement - although I regrettably did let slip in a previous post that I'd worked with a Welshman...

As some of you (if anybody can be bothered to read this thread) may have guessed, Chernobyl's effect upon Welsh sheep may not have been purely arbitary Surprised Again, I can neither confirm or deny the existence of a sheep with an ar$e at both ends to aid 'spit roasting'.....

Cheers,

Don't worry about the cost of diesel, it will reach £1 per litre this year, when Bliar (yes I did spell it correctly) backs down on our 3 billion euro money.

Tried another test today . My usual mpg on my Birmingham to London trip is about 27 or 28. Today with the A/C on eco mode ( and a window open a bit .. ) I got 33 mpg. Must be a big drain on the "system" then ..

Last car was an Omega Estate 2.6 auto, and the a/c on or off made a big difference to the mpg. Still getting beter in the D3 though..

Some of the early low mileage is simply getting used to the vehicle and its characteristics. Others will always have a problem if they are short trip or farm use for instance.
