Fuel Expolsion Nr Hemel Hemp. M1 Closed

Hi all,

Fuel depot explosion near Hemel has closed M1 this am.

Hope you are all well down that way. Sounds like some of you must have felt this a long way away.

Anyway you'll need an alternative route so the Sat Nav will be earning its money today for the christmas present run.

This is the honest truth. I woke up on the second explosion (live about 10 miles away from the depot) The house literly shook. When I glanced over at the clock to see what time it was it was dead on 6am. So I put two and two together and decided that our gas boiler had blown up. So I sent the missus (yes the missus) it was far too cold to get out of bed!! to go and investigate. She came back saying that the clock on the boiler was 3 minutes slow so thats why the heating wasn;t on and no our boiler had blown up. So we put it down to something falling over in the loft and went back to sleep.

bloody amazing that no one has died... and only 39 casualties.

A few are serious so our thoughts go out to them.
