Seems like 1500 miles is the magic marker for those without any problems - looks like I haven't made it
Filled up yesterday, did 50 miles and then went to bed. This morning, I came out to half a tank of fuel.
Checked for a leak........ Nope
Looked for signs of syphoning........ Nope
Drove a few miles with some exaggerated turning manoeuvres to try to dislodge a sticky float in the tank but to no avail.
Went to the petrol station and filled her up for less than £10 so the answer is clear. There is MORE than half a tank in the car - in fact it is full again. However, my gauge says half. Also, the 'miles to zero' is sitting at about 220.
Anybody got any ideas or is it my first trip for warranty work?

If it does need a new tank, you should still be able to drive it whilst waiting for parts. You just need to drive by the trip meter, and fill regularly to be certain not to run out.
